Gemma Fee Pilates

Gemma Fee Pilates

Gemma already had a well established hair and make-up business in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, but her passion for health and fitness led her to train as a Pilates instructor. Having seen our work with Sol Pilates in the same area, she got in touch to get our help with creating an online presence including a website and an online booking system.

As well as a fully responsive website with online booking, we helped Gemma with her logo design and incorporated her social media platforms. We worked within Gemma’s timescales as she was already busy with her existing business and moving house at the same time! We are also teaching Gemma to be able to make minor changes to her website herself.

We are excited to see the growth of Gemma’s latest venture!

After playing around with some ideas in terms of colour scheme and fonts, Leanne created an excellent logo herself which was incorporated into the website design which was put together quickly to enable her to start her new business quickly.

The secure website includes a full appointment booking system enabling prospective customers to book a session directly with open times in her own calendar, so she never has to worry about emails back and forth agreeing on a time.

We are excited to see the future growth of Leanne’s business.

Adrienne Nicol Change Coach

Adrienne Nicol – Change Coach

A referral from another of our clients, Adrienne Nicol was looking for a new website to help launch her new business as a Change Coach, helping people get a better experience out of life using methods such as NLP and hypnotherapy.

As a good starting point, Adrienne had built an outline of what she was looking for to do using one of the many website builders available. She had a clear idea of what she wanted which is always useful in creating a design she was happy with quickly.

The finished secure and mobile responsive website includes a booking system allowing prospects to book a free discovery call with Adrienne which is a great way for her to meet and work with potential customers in a relaxed and stress free manner. We also helped her set up her mailing list and Adrienne is also able to add content herself to the website, allowing her the freedom to grow her business.

Sol Pilates

Sol Pilates is a new venture for Amersham based Silvia Gil, a newly qualified Body Control Pilates teacher. Silvia had some clear ideas on the look and feel she wanted for her website, but needed help with bringing these into reality, while also going through the other elements of setting up and building a new business.

Silvia came up with the logo, images and colour scheme, and we put them together to bring everything to life with a lovely looking, responsive website which enables her customers to book both classes and individual pilates sessions and to make secure payments. Silvia is able to add classes and content herself, and we also helped her set up her mailing list and integrated her social media accounts which bring in a lot of interest from prospective customers.

In addition, we worked to ensure the Sol Pilates website appears on the first page of Google for relevant search terms, which gives the new business the maximum exposure to prospects looking for pilates lessons.

Apricity Coaching & Training

Apricity Coaching & Training is a new venture for Lee Smith, a certified practioner of NLP and Hypnotherapy to help individuals and teams improve themselves, whether it be a lack of self-confidence, stresses and phobias, relationships or efficiency.

The site build enabled Lee to keep the website updated and maintained himself. Lee supplied the original copy and we optimised all the elements of the site to ensure a good performance in Google searches. He also supplied some of the stunning images which really brough the site to life, and we also used a couple of photos from Gerd Altmann on Pixabay.

Since the site was put live, under Lee’s guidance, we have also added a secure online appointment booking system to allow propsective customers to book a free consultation, and a new cover page for new visitors from his social media campaign. We have also assisted with his outbound mail campaign.

FL Dickins

FL Dickins are a long established wine merchant based in Rickmansworth, Herts. They had an existing but outdated and non-responsive website (ie it didn’t work well on mobile devices), and they were unable to update the website themselves with special offers which meant it wasn’t working hard for their business. This became particularly important during the COVID-19 pandemic when they had an increase in demand for home delivery.

In consultation with the owners, we modernised the look and feel of the site while maintaining the traditional feel of the shop itself. We also increased the focus on their excellent range of local produce and special offers within their extensive wine range which Dickins are able to update themselves. The website was improved further with up-to-date images.

Telegraph Fantasy Football Guide

Telegraph Fantasy Football Guide

Telegraph Fantasy Football Guide was an idea by enthusiast Andrew McConnell. A player over a long period of time, Andrew was keen to share his tips and enable dialogue with other players.

Andrew was keen to have the site put together by someone with more experience of building websites, but wanted to be able to add his weekly tips to the relevant page himself, in addition to new copy, images, and statistical updates for which he kept his own separate spreadsheets.

The site was created in time for the 2020/21 football season and we managed to produce a good solution for the statistics and tables which not only looked good on all devices including mobile, but also enabled Andrew to simply upload updates from his spreadsheets.

Ted Kinsey Photographer

TedKinsey.com was an existing website showcasing Ted’s photography which has seen several projects and exhibitions in both London and Paris. However, the platform on which the site was built lacked the capacity for customisation, and as a graphic designer, Ted had very definite ideas on how he wanted the website to look.

The website was rebuilt on a platform which not only allowed us to recreate the website in the exact style Ted wanted, but also enabled him to add new portfolios of images, add blog posts, and maintain a diary of his speaking engagements and exhibitions.

Untameable Tri

TM Personal Training

A website designed and built for a new personal training and fitness business, TM Personal Training, run by Tim Maynard and based in Croxley Green, near Rickmansworth in Hertfordshire.

The site, originally constructed by ourselves, was given a refresh with some fantastic new images which showed Tim at work with a number of his clients. The refurbished site includes details of the services offered, a full picture gallery, testimonials, bespoke sign-up forms, partner pages, and a latest news blog section.

The site is fully mobile responsive and is optimised for search engines and appears high in Google searches for several key terms, which has resulted in plenty of new clients for the business.

In addition, we provided content writing services to create some blog content, and maintain and update plugins on the site. Tim is also looking at providing an online membership section in due course which will help add further growth to his business.

Each Game As It Comes

Each Games As It Comes was originally built as a casual football blog, written by an enthusiastic player, coach and watcher of the game.

The website has had two redesigns, firstly in in 2015 when the business rebranded and pivoted to focus on becoming a resource for football coaches worldwide with training plans, videos and downloadable content. The second redesign gave it a more modern look and feel and included the addition of a membership portal.

The site is maintained by Visiospective, who also provide copy for weekly emails and analytics reports via Google Analytics.

Orchard Material Technology

Orchard Material Technology, a metallurgy firm based in MA, USA, had seen their website disappear from the web due to a combination of hosting issues and an old software build on the site. While the business does not do much of its business online, the website’s presence was important in keeping clients aware of their projects, and also simply ensuring prospects knew they were still in business!

We assisted OMT in setting up new hosting and created a simple one page design, using copy and images supplied by the company themselves, providing all the information required for clients and prospects alike.

Onium Process Technology Inc

Onium Inc, or Onium Process Technology Inc. is a global metallurgy firm based in Florida, USA.

They had a simple website built using a basic website builder platform but needed something far more professional to help attract new clients.

We assisted Onium with moving their website to more reliable hosting and created a simple one page website to help grow their customer base, which included new projects from South America and the Middle East.

Watford Legends

Watford Legends was a popular but simple website created by a couple of Watford FC supporters in the late 2000’s. When they were unable to continue updating the site, it was deleted by the hosting company, but a fellow supporter wanted to revive the content and update the site. Using web archives, the website was restored, completely modernised and placed on a new hosting platform.

The copy and imagery were also updated to not only improve the site’s ranking on Google, but also provide a solution for displaying copyrighted images.

Black & White Basement

We were approached by Keith at Black & White Basement, a photolab in North West London, after he had seen one of our other creations, TedKinsey.com. Keith had experienced some issues with his own website, and although he had a functioning website, it was not performing to the level he would have liked for his business.

We undertook a process of evolution, prioritising the important improvements for the business needs in line with Keith’s budget, including emphasis on the key services, SEO work including copy and link building, adding new testimonials, and an ongoing improvement of the look and feel of the website.

A new website for a popular local business, Browzerz are a beauty salon specialising in microblading (eyebrow embroidery) based in Staines-upon-Thames, Surrey.

The fully responsive site includes contact details, price list, lots of testimonials and an image gallery. The site’s copy and imagery was all provided by the company owners. The site was also integrated with social media, set up on Google Analytics and optimised for search to enable Browzerz to attract many more customers.

IRC Therapy Services

A website designed and built for IRC Therapy Services, a Neurological Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy company based in Surrey.

The fully mobile responsive site includes full details of the services offered, many images and contact details. The site’s copy was written by the company owners but was optimised by ourselves for search. All images were adapted and optimised for web use.

In addition, the site was set up on Google Analytics and when the site was removed by the hosting company in 2021, we were able to restore from backups on to a new hosting platform.

Sailing the Caledonian Canal in a Wayfarer Dinghy

We had already built Ted Kinsey’s photography site when he came to us with another project, the story of his journey alongside his friend Ian Slade, travelling the length of Scotland’s Caledonian Canal in a Wayfarer dinghy.

The idea was not only to tell their story, complete with appropriately placed images, but to provide information and inspiration for anyone else looking to complete a similar (slightly crazy?) voyage, so searchability was important.

The website was built in a one-page, diary style and added as a sub-domain of the original Ted Kinsey website.

THN Gardening & Maintenance

THN Gardening & Maintenance, an established gardening and landscaping business based in Croxley Green, UK, were a referral from one of their clients.

Part of the brief was for the site to be visually strong to showcase previous work which we achieved thanks to an excellent catalogue of images from THN themselves. Also included was a testimonial page, prominent contact details, social media and on our recommendation, separate pages were built for each of THN’s services. All SEO and copywriting was done by us.

The website is fully mobile responsive and all pages are optimised for key search terms.

LAB Sports

The website for LAB Sports, a new teamwear and sports development company, was already live but in need of some urgent amends and updates before the company’s launch.

Using our WordPress experience, we were able to assist with making the updates both making some ourselves, and also giving guidance on changes that could be made going forward.
