Adrienne Nicol – Change Coach
A referral from another of our clients, Adrienne Nicol was looking for a new website to help launch her new business as a Change Coach, helping people get a better experience out of life using methods such as NLP and hypnotherapy.
As a good starting point, Adrienne had built an outline of what she was looking for using Wix, which along with her clear thoughts on what she wanted enable us to produce a colourful but informative website in WordPress using the Divi Theme by Elegant Themes. Following our referral, Adrienne had the site hosted on the excellent Siteground platform which included an SSL certificate.
After launch, we are looking to help Adrienne add new video content as well as teaching her how to make further updates herself.
Sol Pilates is a new venture for Amersham based Silvia Gil, a newly qualified Body Control Pilates teacher. Silvia had some clear ideas on the look and feel she wanted for her website, but needed help with bringing these into reality, while also going through the other elements of setting up and building a new business.
Silvia came up with the logo, images and colour scheme, and we put them together to bring everything to life on the small screen using the excellent Divi Theme for WordPress and hosted by Siteground which included an SSL certificate, very important for a website where clients could book and pay for classes on the website.
For the booking system, after lots of testing and consultation with Silvia, we went for Acuity, which allowed clients to choose the type of class they wanted, make a payment, and for the appointment to automatically update in Silvia’s own diary. Silvia also plans to send out regular newsletters and updates using the ConvertKit platform.
Apricity Coaching & Training
Apricity Coaching & Training is a new venture for Lee Smith, a certified practioner of NLP and Hypnotherapy to help individuals and teams improve themselves, whether it be a lack of self-confidence, stresses and phobias, relationships or efficiency.
The site, was built using the excellent Divi Theme by Elegant Themes, which enables Lee to keep the website updates and maintained himself. Lee supplied the copy himself, and we optimised all the elements of the site to ensure a good performance in Google searches. He also supplied some of the stunning images which really brough the site to life, and we also used a couple of photos from Gerd Altmann on Pixabay.
Since the site was put live, under Lee’s guidance, we have also added an online appointment booking system to allow propsective customers to book a free consultation, and a new cover page for new visitors.
The site is hosted on the excellent Siteground platform which included an SSL certificate.
FL Dickins are a long established wine merchant based in Rickmansworth, Herts. They had an existing but outdated and non-responsive website that they were unable to update which meant it wasn’t working hard for their business. This became particularly important during the COVID-19 pandemic when they had an increase in demand for home delivery.
In consultation with the owners, we modernised the look and feel of the site while maintaining some of the traditional feel of the shop itself. We also increased the focus on their excellent range of local produce and special offers within their extensive wine range, the offers now able to be updated by Dickins themselves. The website was improved further with up-to-date images.
The website was built in WordPress using the excellent Divi Theme, and tweaked following feedback from FL Dickins and customers alike.
Telegraph Fantasy Football Guide
Telegraph Fantasy Football Guide was an idea by Telegraph Fantasy Football enthusiast Andrew McConnell. A player over a long period of time, Andrew was keen to share his tips and enable dialogue with other players.
Andrew was keen to have the site put together by someone with more experience of building websites, but also to be able to provide his weekly updates himself and learn how to make changes to both copy and images.
The excellent Divi Theme by Elegant Themes, which makes updates for those without technical knowledge more straightforward, was the obvious choice, and site was created in time for the 2020/21 football season. The big challenge with a website full of statistics and tables is making the site user friendly for users on any device. We were also able to make it easy for Andrew to update the tables using his own spreadsheets on Microsoft Excel.
As recommended by us, Andrew chose to host the site on the excellent Siteground platform.
Ted Kinsey Photographer
TedKinsey.com was an existing website on SquareSpace, showcasing Ted’s photography which has seen several projects and exhibitions in both London and Paris. However, although SquareSpace is an excellent (and indeed award-winning) template builder, it lacks the capacity for customisation. Ted is also a graphic designer and had very definite ideas of how he wanted the website to look.
The website was copied onto WordPress using the excellent Divi Theme, and then with guidance and plenty of challenges from Ted we made changes and added some more functionality to the site.
The resulting website is one of our proudest to date.

In addition, we helped OMT move the website to new hosting with Siteground.
Onium Process Technology Inc

The website was developed using a child theme of Divi Extra. This uses the excellent Divi builder which provides an attractive and flexible look on all devices. Black & White Basement
We were approached by Keith at Black & White Basement, a photolab in North West London, after he had seen one of our other creations, TedKinsey.com. Keith had experienced some issues with his own website, and although he had a functioning website, it was not performing to the level he would have liked for his business.
We undertook a process of evolution, prioritising the important improvements for the business needs in line with Keith’s budget, including emphasis on the key services, SEO work including copy and link building, adding new testimonials, and an ongoing improvement of the look and feel of the website.

Sailing the Caledonian Canal in a Wayfarer Dinghy
We had already built Ted Kinsey’s photography site when he came to us with another project, the story of his journey alongside his friend Ian Slade, travelling the length of Scotland’s Caledonian Canal in a Wayfarer dinghy.
The idea was not only to tell their story, complete with appropriately placed images, but to provide information and inspiration for anyone else looking to complete a similar voyage, so searchability was important.
The website was built as a one-pager, in the Divi WordPress Theme by Elegant Themes, and added as a sub-domain of the original Ted Kinsey website.
THN Gardening & Maintenance
THN Gardening & Maintenance, an established gardening and landscaping business based in Croxley Green, UK, were a referral from one of their clients.
The website was developed using the Solostream Restaurant Premium Theme, and part of the brief was for the site to be visually strong to showcase previous work. Also included was a testimonial page, prominent contact details, social media and on our recommendation, separate pages were built for each of THN’s services. All SEO and copywriting was done by us.
The website is fully mobile responsive and all pages are optimised for key search terms.
The website for LAB Sports, a new teamwear and sports development company, was already live but in need of some urgent amends and updates before the company’s launch.
